Glossary

Glossary terms are in alphabetical order.

Organization

An entity that contains Repositories and is owned by a single User (i.e. the Organization Owner) and other Users may be invited to join and given different levels of permissions for interacting with the Repositories and Organization. Organizations are always public. Every User is given a Personal Organization when they first sign up.

Personal Organization

Each User is given a Personal Organization when they first sign up. Personal Organizations cannot be deleted except by deleting the originating User.

Branded Organization

Branded Organizations can be created by purchasing a paid subscription. A User can own multiple Branded Organizations (or none). Branded Organizations can be deleted at any time by the Organization Owner.

Organization Owner

The owner of the Organization has full administrative rights and is responsible for billing and subscription management for the Organization.

Repository

An entity that contains ModelKit tags (i.e. versions). Every Repository must be owned by an Organization. Repositories can be public or private. Rights to push to a Repository are controlled through membership to the Organization that owns the Repository.

Tag

A Tag refers to a named ModelKit package. Tags are often used to denote versions or other relevant metadata about a specific ModelKit package.

User (aka Account)

An account associated with a single user on the Jozu platform. Each User / Account is unique and tied to a single email address.
