Organizations in Jozu Hub

Organizations are a central part of how ModelKits are handled in Jozu Hub. Every ModelKit is housed in a Repository and every Repository is owned by an Organization.

Types of Organizations

Personal Organizations

When you first sign-up for a Jozu Hub user account you are given a Personal Organization. Your Personal Organization will live with your account forever - it can’t be deleted unless you delete your account.

For free accounts your Personal Organization can only house public Repositories. If you need Private Repositories you will need to upgrade your Personal Organization to a paid plan, or use a paid plan to create a Branded Organization.

As the name suggests, we only recommend using Personal Organizations for hobby work. Branded Organizations have a number of benefits for team and enterprise usage.

Branded Organizations

You can create a Branded Organization with a paid subscription, and you can have as many Branded Organizations as you need. With Branded Organizations you can create private Repositories and enjoy more storage for your ModelKits on Jozu Hub. Owners of Branded Organizations can also apply to have their Organization verified.
